Headshots of the four 2025 Tett Artists in Residence: Erin Kennedy, Rowynne Grant, Callie Silverton, & Jabra Mitwasi

The Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning is thrilled to announce the selected artists for the 2025 Tett Artist Residency program. Now in its second year, this community-funded program is designed to empower emerging artists by providing them with a dedicated studio space for three months, offering artists unlimited studio access throughout the residency.

Selected artists for 2025 are as follows:

Q1 Winter: Jabra Mitwasi - Arabic Calligraphy, Graphic Design

Q2 Spring: Erin Kennedy - New Media Art, Kinetic Sculptures

Q3 Summer: Rowynne Grant - Digital Art, Watercolour & Acrylic Painting

Q4 Fall: Callia Silverton - Digital, Acrylic Painting

This diverse group of artists offers unique perspectives and practices that will be exciting additions to the Tett community.

Past Artists in Residence have shared that the program provided them the dedicated space they needed to create their work, the opportunity to develop new skills, and strengthened their connection within the Kingston arts community.

We are excited to welcome the 2025 Artists in Residence to the Tett!
