Emily's paintings and Tong's sculptures are contemplative responses to nature. Emily's experience as a children's illustrator has helped her to develop a reflective approach to her painting practice. Tong's previous career as an architect has inclined him to prefer using recycled materials like papier-mâché to create sculptures. Their works offer a meditative exploration of the transcendent, as seen in the rhythms and patterns of the natural world.
