Textile Mondays with Bethany Garner
Join Creativity Studio Artist Bethany Garner for hands-on textile project sessions every third Monday from October to December. Bring your favourite cloth art project, stitching, or artwork, and enjoy learning as she demonstrates her own creative process. Feel free to bring your tools and any supplies you need, along with some treats if you’d like. Bethany will also have some of her own projects in progress to share with you.

Cultural Creativity Series: Mexican Indigenous Art: Huichol Yarn Painting Workshop
The Huichols, an Indigenous people from the mountainous regions of north-central Mexico, are known for their vibrant and intricate yarn paintings. In this workshop, participants will explore their rich history and artistic heritage through a hands-on, immersive experience.
Over three sessions, each lasting three hours, you'll learn the techniques and cultural significance of this remarkable art form. Take the time to connect with the Huichol tradition and create your own piece of their globally recognized yarn art.

2024 Fall Metal Rocks Show & Sale
The Fall Metal Rocks Show & Sale is an annual event sponsored by the Kingston Lapidary & Mineral Club (KLMC). The show will take place from November 21 to November 24 in the Rehearsal Hall. This edition of the annual holiday show will feature one of a kind handcrafted jewellery, rocks, minerals, home decor and gift ideas created by members of the KLMC. Admission to the show is free and once again will be held in conjunction with the Kingston Potters Guild annual holiday sale.
