Have you ever wanted to fly? Or run away and join the circus?
This six-week course will introduce students to the basics of working on the popular aerial silks. In the air, students will work through a series of progressive skills and exercises to lay the foundation for more advanced aerial work. Students with previous experience will have the opportunity to review material and learn new sequences and skills. On the ground, students will be given conditioning and flexibility exercises to prepare their bodies for work on the apparatus. Towards the end of the course, exercises emphasizing creativity and performance skills will be introduced.
